Definitely a good track, simple but effective. I think some more melodic development would have been nice (solos, lead lines, etc.), but the progression is catchy and that central rhythm in your 8-bit synth does a surprisingly good job carrying the song forwards-- even if I also think it too could use some variation in rhythm and progression.

That's my main criticism here, the song isn't varied enough. Skipping around, it's basically just one big long section. Some EQ work on the chords, and general effect work/ mixing could also be good, but that's far from your main concern here (at least, IMO).

Thank you so much! I'm still an amateur with the EQ but I'm slowly starting to figure out what sound goes where. I hope in later pieces to be able to show some variety in the melody and evening out the EQ without overcrowding the sound. Thanks for taking the time to review!!

Needs a bass tbh, and some mixing work but it's pretty catchy honestly, and definitely not a bad start.

Thanks! I was talking to a friend and he told me it needed a bass aswell, but I honestly dont have a good enough sounding bass so i used a synth instead. In terms of mixing i agree, i got kind of lazy in the end. Thanks nonetheless!

Full serious when I say this is seriously one of the best CH customs out there. Great composition, instrumentation is on point, and the structure keeps things moving at a good pace. It's wholly unique and stands out from the crowd in the best ways possible.

Personally I'd chill a bit on the reverb though. Despite this, still a 5/5 from me.

This has potential to be good: But that amen at the end is crying from all the distortion. The mix in general really suffers, and the buildup also isn't really too great
